Detroit Lives

This is a half hour documentary by Johnny Knoxville of the revolution that has been going on in Detroit, unnoticed and unreported by the “mainstream media”. I first came across this on Peter Sinclair’s Climate Denial Crock of the Week (a truly excellent blog that everybody should check out). In many ways, I see Detroit as a metaphor for the entire planet. We’ve trashed the place, and while that is, on the one hand, terrible, it also means that we have an opportunity to create something new and wonderful.
